Results of Idea Cellular for Q1

Idea Cellular has announced its first quarter numbers. Its Q1 net profit declined 4.88% at Rs 263.09 crore from Rs 278 crore in previous quarter while CNBC-TV18 estimated at Rs 276 crore. Revenue went up by 9.48% to Rs 2173.46 crore from Rs 1985.2 crore. CNBC-TV18 estimated at Rs 2153.24 crore. Its EBIDTA margins were at 33.14% versus 33.93%. Forex loss was up at Rs 15.2 crore in Q1 versus loss of Rs 2.7 crore in Q4 and interest cost also went up by 26.5% to Rs 152.6 crore QoQ. ARPUs declined by 3.13% and MOUs up by 4.13% QoQ. Revenues in established circles went up by 9.1% QoQ and revenues in new circles up by 19.22% QoQ.
